SOLA EXPERIA From SONY

Sony has obviously put quite a lot of effort in the design of the Xperia sola touchscreen. The smartphone may only be a mid-range offering, but it's shaping up to be one of the most interesting devices we have seen recently.

It turns out that the floating touch technology that allows the Sony Xperia sola to detect your finger hovering over the screen isn't the only trick it holds up its sleeve. It turns out that the Xperia sola screen is also geared to detect touches through non-conductive fabric, which suggests that it will work with gloves.

The proof came from the following hands-on video that the guys from AndroidNext.de created at the Droidcon event in Berlin.

S 006 From Sony Ericcson, 16 MP Powerful Camera

Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S006, 16.2MP Camera Phones It takes just a few weeks after Sony announces 16.41 MP camera module. Sony Ericsson announced the launch of their S006 Cybershot mobile phone with a resolution of 16.2 MP. This phone is designed for operator KDDI, equipped with a large touch screen and built-in megapixel camera with such a sophisticated digital camera. The camera on this phone using autofocus CMOS sensor with high sensitivity up to ISO 12800 and image processing Exmor R. such as camera phones, perhaps, enough to replace just the camera, but apparently only for Japanese consumers. Other specifications of this product is Sony Ericsson's latest 3.3-inch touchscreen display, a processor with a speed of 1 GHz (Platform Qualcomm Snapdragon), support for Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth, FM radio and a GPS receiver and no Infrared port, 700MB internal memory, and MicroSD / MicroSDHC memory card slot (up to 16GB). This phone also supports GSM and CDMA networks. Not mentioned video problem but we believe at least S006 Cybershot mobile phone could generate at least a HD format (720p). In addition, enclosed in a waterproof casing that allows to make good pictures on the beach or in the rain. Unfortunately, your operating system but not the Android OS have a Sony Ericsson itself.
